It is 50% amusing and 50% annoying to me to hear people, especially Born Again Christians talk about taking time to remember God!
How can you “remember” someone you never forgot?
And if you are Born Again and you have God, the Holy Spirit literally living inside of you and forget Him then you have a serious problem!!!
How can you forget the One who has you breathing in and out – With every breath you breathe He’s there … right there.
With every movement you make He’s there… right there!
With every sight you see… Need I go on???
Don’t you realize Brother and Sister Christian that that’s the reason why he decided to live inside of us… It’s so that we won’t be able to forget Him.
This is the reason why the Sabbath Day is not a part of the New Covenant.
Old Testament saints weren’t born again so they could NOT have God living within them like we do. So in order to help them out He instituted a special day for the entire Nation of Israel to set aside some time to ‘remember’ Him.
Why do you think the 4th commandment begins with the word, “remember”? Because it was actually possible for them to forget God!
Not so with you and me my friends, we have absolutely no reason to “remember” God because he made it so that we can never forget.
He lives inside us!
Do you understand what that means?
He’s closer to you than your wife, your husband, your mother, your father, your son or daughter.
He is more a part of you than any philosophy or ideology you might have. When you become born again God literally becomes a part of your very being, an intrinsic part of who you are. You cannot be separated.
Hydrogen and oxygen help make water what it is, if you separated them from each other, you would no longer have water but something else entirely.
When you become born again and God has integrated Himself into you… You are now a NEW creation. You are NOT the same entity you used to be before. You are fundamentally different! You’re still human but now you’re a different KIND of human… An immortal, divine being that came into existence the moment you received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
It is not possible to, but if you could separate God from yourself you would cease to be anything recognizable, just like if you separated hydrogen atoms from oxygen you would no longer have water but something entirely different… So would you be without God… something unrecognizable in this sphere of existence!
My friends, you have been divinely selected to have the Creator of the entire universe take up residence inside of you and continually impart His eternal life into your regenerated spirit… And Call You His Own Child!
How is it possible to forget that?

If we are Christian, we should all have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. There is surely no forgetting or having to remember, we are in His Love. His Grace is sufficient and His Mercy Endures Forever. When Jesus was on the cross we were on His Mind.
