  1. Well written and well thought out! Wisdom and understanding isn’t something you just happen to run across in life nor is it found in the genes of our parents. I love the CONDITIONAL “if”s found in Proverbs 2:1-4: “IF you receive my words”; “IF you cry out for…”; “IF you seek [Wisdom]…” “THEN” (vs. 5) you will understand the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord and FIND the knowledge of God.”

    • Thanks for sharing, Mel. I couldn’t agree with you more, the “If’s” are very important to acknowledge if we want to have what God promises. Another word to pay close attention to whenever it appears in the Bible is “but.”
