How Can a Christian Prove That God Exists?
How can we prove that there is indeed a God who created the universe and all life therein?
Let’s use an illustration:
Suppose there is a child who was abandoned at birth and adopted by people other than their birth parents who both disappeared without a trace.
If someone were to ask the question:
Does That Child’s Birth Parents Exist?
How could we intelligently answer that question?
There is absolutely no trace of their existence and no proof of them ever being alive on planet earth.
Is there any way to prove that these people exist and are real?
Yes, there is!
There is one sure-fire, bullet-proof way to prove beyond the slightest shadow of a doubt that this child’s parents exist.
That proof is… The Child!
The fact that the child exist is absolute proof beyond any doubt that their parents also exist.
Life proves life!
The Law of Biogenesis states that Life cannot come from Nonliving matter but must come from existing Life.
It takes life to produce life.
The fact that this child exists is all the proof anyone needs, to know beyond any doubt that they have parents who exist.
The existence of the child proves the existence of their parents.
How can you prove that God exists… YOU ARE THE PROOF!
Every Born Again Christian is living proof that God exists.
Life must come from life and the eternal life that you have within you must have come from an Eternal, Living Being who gave that life to you.
Christian, when you look inside you and discern the difference before you were born again as opposed to after you were born again, that is the greatest proof that God exists.
If a person is born, it proves their parents exist.
If a person is born again, it proves their God exists.
The problem with this scenario is that most of us Christians live our lives as though there is no change within us.
We live like the world, adopting their customs, their ideologies and habits, so when they look at us and see no change and no difference, this proves to them that there is no eternal life in us, no difference and consequently no God who gave us that life.
Unfortunately, the way the average Christian lives their life strengthens and supports Atheism.
When the world looks at us they must see such a stark difference between us and them that it impacts their senses with the truth that there is a God!
The evidence of the abundant, eternal life within us should inexorably point them to the Author of that Life… The only true and Living God!
The strongest proof of God is the life that a Christian lives.
The most powerful argument against Atheism is the Character and Power of Jesus Christ demonstrated in the life of a Born Again Believer. (Matthew 5:16)

Atmospheric chemicals (ammonia, hydrogen, etc) on the ancient gaseous Earth interacted with the electricity of the excessive lightning that was part of the climate at that time and the sparks resulted in single cell organisms that evolved over billions of years into the trillion cell organisms that we are now.
And we’re still evolving by the way.

Why are theists so quick to jump to “well where did the universe come from then”?
Why can’t theists just accept and admit that we don’t know the origins of the universe yet?

Amanda, I KNOW where the universe came from!
Why would I feign ignorance when I have the knowledge?
It would be irresponsible and wrong of me to pretend to not know something just to make you feel better about your own ignorance.
God created the universe and all life in it.
Science discovered that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so the Energy Source that created the universe MUST be Eternal… It must have always existed!
The Law of Biogenesis states that Life MUST be created by Life… Life must come from a Living Source.
Science discovered that DNA is coded information, meaning that it must have originated from an Intelligent Mind.
Therefore, for Human Life to exist in the universe it must have been created by an Eternal, Life Giving, Intelligent Being… In one word, GOD!
Evolution is nonsense and Atheism is absurd.
The sooner you accept and admit this, the sooner you can start getting your life in order to meet your Creator, because, Amanda… That Day is coming!

Science proves God exists!
Evolution is NOT science!
The Scientific Method consists of the systematic observation, measurement and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.
FACT: Evolution CANNOT be observed, measured nor experimented with, therefore, it’s hypothesis CANNOT be tested in any way, meaning… IT IS NOT SCIENTIFIC!!!
Evolution is Hocus-pocus!
It is pseudo-scientific gobbledygook fed to the gullible and ignorant by men who insist there is no God simply because they fear the consequences of what God’s existence means for them… Judgment!
There is a growing number of intellectually honest. non-christian, scientists who have adopted the position that Evolution can no longer be considered a viable option for explaining the origin of life in the universe.
You seriously need to educate yourself with contemporary scientific facts and not just parrot the propaganda still being fed to the masses in our nation’s educational institutions.
The blatant lies being told to our school children under the guise of “science” is what’s a shame, Amanda.

Evolution is supported by observation,. Natural selection is well documented in changes in life’s characteristics during modern times. That’s why you can’t use last year’s influenza inoculation this year.

2) The Vatican has it’s own agenda which is the increase of political power and the amassing of wealth and will support any doctrine which lends support to their ultimate desire for world domination.
Everything that comes out of the Vatican is to be sifted through with a fine tooth comb and viewed through the lens of Holy Scripture.
Nothing from them is to be accepted at face value.

If you’re going to dispute someone’s statements you need to read them carefully and quote them accurately.
The phrase I actually wrote was, “the origin of LIFE in the universe” NOT the origin of the universe (more on this later).

Of course, I do! Not only do I deny it, but scientific observation also denies it, since there is NO scientific observation that supports it.

Amanda, this statement is categorically untrue. There is NO observation of evolution taking place, it is simply NOT POSSIBLE!
Evolution, by definition supposedly takes millions of years. So, when exactly did this scientific observation take place???
Apparently you’re a little confused about Evolution so let me share this with you:
There are 6 different definitions for the word “Evolution:”
1) Cosmic Evolution – The origin of Time and Space. The Big Bang Theory. (this is considered an explanation of the origin of the universe)
2) Chemical Evolution – The origin of higher elements from Hydrogen.
3) Stellar/Planetary Evolution – The origin of the stars and planets.
4) Organic Evolution – The origin of life.
5) Macro Evolution – Changing of one kind of animal into another.
6) Micro Evolution – Variations within the same kind of living organism
The first 5 of these are completely unfounded, unscientific and untrue (they NEVER happened) and the last one is not evolution at all but merely variation and adaptation in the same species of animal.
Whenever someone talks about observing evolution taking place they can only be referencing variation and adaptation, like what Darwin observed with the Finches on the Galapagos Islands.
His observations are simply variations and adaptations within the same species of animals… THIS IS NOT EVOLUTION!
No one has ever observed one species of animals changing into another species… because it supposedly takes millions of years.
If it takes millions of years then it is NOT observable and if it is NOT observable … THEN IT IS NOT SCIENTIFIC!
Evolution is NOT Science!
Facts are required to “demonstrate” a scientific truth. Darwin himself had no facts to support evolution and he knew it.
In his work, “The Origin of Species,” published in 1859, Darwin presented no actual evidence or facts that demonstrated the truth or validity of evolution.
Furthermore, Darwin’s letters reveal that on the very eve of publication, he had not even been able to convince himself.
On November 23, 1859, he wrote to his friend, Sir Charles Lyell and said, “Often a cold shudder runs through me, and I have asked myself whether I may not have devoted my life to a phantasy.”
Two days later he wrote to Thomas Huxley saying, “I had awful misgivings, and thought perhaps I had deluded myself as so many have done.”
Even Darwin wasn’t convinced of the deception of evolution.
Please educate yourself, Amanda before it’s too late.

Whether you believe the theory of evolution or not that’s beside the point; arguing against one theory is not validating another one.
How is the hypothetical lack of of evolution in nature (I can’t believe I’m entertaining that concept in 2018) evidence for creationism?
Why not just admit we aren’t sure how the universe began?

Everest, don’t frustrate yourself. Every soul has a right to question, to wonder, to accept or reject a perceived truth, whether accompanied by evidence or not. In the great scheme of creation and in the wisdom of the Almighty Creator, every soul was given the freedom to choose.
As long as there is breath, there is hope for eternal life. As long as there is curiosity and determined inquisition, there is room for godly faith to be conceived.
The biggest set back in encouraging non-believers to consider Theism in its unadulterated form is the painstaking truth found in your statement, “Unfortunately, the way the average Christian lives their life strengthens and supports Atheism.”
May this blog not only open doors to intellectual conversations but most important, to the very heart of those who still seek (consciously or unconsciously) the meaning of life. Great post, by the way!

Great READ Everest, and interesting reading of comments given. When the religious leaders in Jesus’ day asked Him questions, we see that there is a big difference between “questions” and “questioning”! His answers were corresponding. Just a side note, I don’t think “Biogenesis” came into play during Creation–God said, God, saw!

According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Biogenesis is… “The development of life from preexisting life.”
The Bible says, “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7
The Bible also says, “The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4
And, “The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam–that is, Christ–is a life-giving Spirit.” 1 Cor 15:45
The Scriptures teach us that all life came from God who is a Life-giving Spirit.
That is the Law of Biogenesis in action… Life must come from Pre-existent Life.
God is that Pre-existent Life from which all life came.
Therefore, the scientific principle of Biogenesis promotes Creationism in line with the scriptures and helps refute the argument for Evolution.
